legacy

There is a wind

That whispers

The secrets of the universe

Gently onto the skin of the soul

It tosses the hair of the heart

Out of the face of truth

So you can

See

Inhale this wind

Allow it to flow

Through you

Until you become

Music

Your flesh but a flute

Allow it to lift you

And carry you away

Dancing on the wind

Beyond the land of the thinking

And the land of the thoughts

Be still in this dance

Be still

And you will feel the tongues of time

Tasting you

As you taste time

Be still

And you will hear your mind

Desperately grasping into silence

Reaching out for something

On which to cling

And sliding off empty handed

Holding

Onto nothing

But every possibility

A longing womb

Be still

And you will see

We are the legacies of time

Made of timelessness itself

But

Blinded by bodies

It is impossible to see

Be still

The wind yearns to undress you

To caress you

Beneath the flesh

You

No longer blinded

Can let go

And watch your body float

Away

Away

Away and back again

We cycle through this earth

Pouring from the skies

Bleeding into the ground

Evaporating away

Away

The same as rain

In and out

Of joy

Of pain

In and out

We weave ourselves

To the tapestry of time

Stitched to our ancestors

By veins

Pumping

Primordial blood

Binding us together

Like threads

Up and down

In and out

The fabric of life

Pulsing through births and deaths

Like heartbeats

And breaths

We flow through time

No different

Than

The wind of life

Blows through us

Making songs of our silence

Be still

Look at me now

And see my limitlessness

My foreverness

My everythingness

Look at anything

Everything

See all of time and history

Culminate to its creation

Do not be mistaken

We sprout

Out of this world

Sprout

Out of the blood bodies and bones

Out of our ancestors

We do not just come into this world

Dropped by the heavens

Into it

No no

We sprout

We are of this place

Descendants of the past

Bearers of the future

Be still

Look to this earth

Beneath your feet

The ultimate ancestor

Nourishing

Holding

Being

Our roots

So that we may become

From the bodies

That came from this land

And the bodies that became

From the bodies

That came before them

And the bodies

That came before them

And before them

And before them

All for me

To stand before you

Here

In my divine entirety

Be still

The sacred wind blows

Through me

Now

And it whispers to me

Like crickets

Chirping in the night

Music

And silence

All in one

Whispering

I am still

Now

And truly

What am I

But the pulse of life

Empty ears

And breath
